 New technologies make an impact on our lives. These technologies impact us in both positive and negative ways. I believe the pros and cons of plastic are weight, pollution, time, etc. One of the pros of plastic is that it is super light. If the material is light, it would be easier for people to carry them and use them more. For example, if the water bottle is made out of steel, it will be harder for people to carry them while it would be easier for poeple to carry plastic water bottles. Another pro of plastic is that it is easy to manipulate. If the material takes less energy to manipulate, it will be easier for factories to mass-produce them. For example, it is harder for factories to mass-produce wood materials than plastic materials. While there are pros to plastic, there are a lot of cons to plastic. The major con of plastic is that it takes a long time to decompose. If a material takes a long time to decompose, the material will cause pollution whether people wish it or not....
