[TOPIC WRITING]"Medicine vs. Engineering"

 Which things do you think is the better, Medicine or Engineering? Medicine can help people to cure diseases or other things, and engineering can help people to make safer buildings. So, will you choose healthy or safe buildings? Medicine and engineering are both important, but I think medicine is a little bit better than engineering. The reason why I think medicine is a little better than engineering is a long time ago, people didn't engineer buildings, people lived in caves or other buildings that could easily break. But I'm quite sure that at that time, there was some kind of medicine for people. So, medicine existed before engineering, so people survived without engineering. Do you think people could survive without medicine? I think very few people will going to survive without medicine because there is at least 1 big virus every 100 years. And many people would have died if there weren't medicines to cure those viruses, and people will get immune to those viruses after some time. People survived when there wasn't engineering, but some people would have died because those buildings weren't that safe when there wasn't engineering. But more people have died because of viruses, and medicine can cure or prevent those viruses. Medicine and engineering are both important to the world and people, and both of them are better to be in the world for people. So, which thing do you think is the better? The conclusion is I think medicine is a little bit better than engineering because more people will die if there isn't medicine to cure or prevent people from diseases. And there is about 1 big virus every 100 years.  What do you think about garbage disposal? Then, do you think garbage disposal should not be free to encourage recycling (example: Switzerland)? I think many poeple already recycle things that they want to use again, so I think there is no need to make garbage disposal not become free to encourage people to recycle things. People need to dispose of their garbage anyway, and there are things that you can't recycle. So, it might not be fair to people who recycle a lot of things and need to dispose of non-recyclable garbage. And some people might try to dispose of their garbage in trash cans in public places to avoid paying for the disposal of garbage. Then, there will be tons of garbage in public trash cans, and it will be bad for people who own buildings that have public trash cans since they would need to pay money in order to dispose of other people's garbage. So, there can be a lot of problems if the government starts to make people pay money in order to dispose of their garb...
