[TOPIC WRITING]"Bystanders and school playground troubles"

 Are you a bystander or upstander? Then, what do you think about bystanders and school playground troubles? There can be a lot of problems in the school playground, and it's not wrong to be a bystander, but sometimes bystanders need to help other people. If you don't know what bystander means, it means that a person avoids situations like someone bullying someone or people fighting each other. An upstander means a person who gets into situations that bystanders avoid, and you might think bystanders are wrong, but sometimes it's better to avoid those situations. When there is a conflict or trouble at the school playground, bystanders will usually just avoid those situations. And avoiding these situations can cause problems to get bigger, but getting into these situations can cause problems to get bigger too. So, people need to see the situation and decide if it will be better if they get into the situation or avoid the situation. So, you can't just say things like why they didn't get into the problem, because they made their decisions that it is better if they don't get into that situation. And their decisions can be wrong, but I think we should respect everyone's decisions. Also, if too many people get into the problem, the problem might get bigger. Then, the situation will go in the wrong direction to solve the problem, and it might make the problem much bigger. And it will make teachers do more work because the problem got bigger, then teachers might not be able to focus on other things, and it might make teachers not make their class assignments that good. Then it will make students' grades drop. So, this is a very complicated chain reaction, so it's important that enough amount of upstanders get into the problem. And there can't be only upstanders in the group, because upstanders are like fire, and fire sometimes needs water to calm it down, and bystanders are like water.  What do you think about garbage disposal? Then, do you think garbage disposal should not be free to encourage recycling (example: Switzerland)? I think many poeple already recycle things that they want to use again, so I think there is no need to make garbage disposal not become free to encourage people to recycle things. People need to dispose of their garbage anyway, and there are things that you can't recycle. So, it might not be fair to people who recycle a lot of things and need to dispose of non-recyclable garbage. And some people might try to dispose of their garbage in trash cans in public places to avoid paying for the disposal of garbage. Then, there will be tons of garbage in public trash cans, and it will be bad for people who own buildings that have public trash cans since they would need to pay money in order to dispose of other people's garbage.
