 What do you think about Ronald Reagan's "War on Drugs"? Then, what do you think are the negative effects of Ronald Reagan’s “War on Drugs.”? If you don't know what the "War on Drugs" is, it is a global campaign led by the U.S. government to prohibit drugs. So, it looks like a good campaign since they are trying to prohibit drugs, and it would be better for everyone if there is no drugs. However, there are negative effects of this campaign.

The first negative effect of this campaign is that drug users might turn into criminals because since it would have been hard for them to get drugs, they might have thought that if they become criminals they would be able to get drugs easily. And the bad thing about drug users becoming criminals is that 5.5% of the world's population are drug users, and imagine  5.5% of the world population turning into criminals. This will mean that a lot of crimes will be going to happen, and it will be hard to stop all of those crimes since 5.5% of the world's population means 437,250,000 people. And there are criminals who did not become criminals because of drugs, so this means that there will be more than 437 million criminals. But some of them would decide not to become criminals, even though they decided not to become criminals, there are still a lot of people.

The second negative effect of this campaign is that people might make excessive levels of imprisonment. because people would see drugs as really bad things and poeple will want to punish them more excessively. And it would be unfair since they will need to serve more time in prison or do more harder punishment, and this might make them think that they should not do drugs, but it is still unfair. But there is a table that is recommended to judges to look at it as a guide, and 75% of judges are using them as a guide. So, this might make people not get unfair imprisonment, but it can still happen.

The conclusion is that the negative effects are criminals and unfair imprisonment. Goodbye!!

 What do you think about garbage disposal? Then, do you think garbage disposal should not be free to encourage recycling (example: Switzerland)? I think many poeple already recycle things that they want to use again, so I think there is no need to make garbage disposal not become free to encourage people to recycle things. People need to dispose of their garbage anyway, and there are things that you can't recycle. So, it might not be fair to people who recycle a lot of things and need to dispose of non-recyclable garbage. And some people might try to dispose of their garbage in trash cans in public places to avoid paying for the disposal of garbage. Then, there will be tons of garbage in public trash cans, and it will be bad for people who own buildings that have public trash cans since they would need to pay money in order to dispose of other people's garbage. So, there can be a lot of problems if the government starts to make people pay money in order to dispose of their garb...
