[TOPIC WRITING]"Technology is a distraction."
As technology developed, our dependency on technology increased. In the past, people did not need technology, nowadays, people found out that technology can help them with a lot of things. There are a lot of ways in which technology can help people.
Firstly, almost everything can be stored in technology, and these technologies can simplify things and make it simpler, Things can be simplified by making them be usable using electronics. For example, in the past, poeple needed to carry cameras to take pictures, but people figured out a way to store cameras in electronics. Technology can be distracting, and people can decide to eliminate those distractions. If people want to eliminate distractions, people can choose to turn off their phones or mute notifications. For example, if people need to focus on their work, they can choose to turn off notifications and put them away.
Secondly, a lot of things are stored in technology, and these things can distract people from what's important. If people are using their phones, there are a lot of applications and tools that could distract them in many ways like notifications can keep coming, some applications can attract them into opening them, etc. For example, if a person is working, notifications can make this person to be distracted. As more things are being added to technology, people are getting more addicted to these technologies. If more tools and applications are being added to technologies, people are getting more reasons to be addicted to them. For example, if a lot of features are added to technologies, there will be some features that someone will be going to like.
In my opinion, technology can distract people, but there are a lot of advantages to using technology because people can choose to avoid distractions by turning off their phones, muting notifications, putting away their electronics, etc., and people can control themselves and decide if there is any feature in technology that is distracting them a lot.
