 We are living in a world of modern technology. Modern technologies are beneficial to humankind in a lot of ways, however, there are some disadvantages to them. One of the things that modern technologies benefit us is material wealth. I believe modern technology has increased material wealth and happiness because of different uses of technology, perspective, and comparison.

Firstly, I believe modern technology has increased material wealth and happiness because of the different uses of technology. When people think of modern technology, most poeple will think of technologies like computers, phones, etc., however, modern technology also includes technologies used in hospitals, security, transportation, etc. For example, in the past surgeons needed to do surgeries with their own hands, but nowadays there is technology to control robot hands to do surgery. This shows that modern technology changed the lives of people in many ways and these technologies would have increased happiness of people.

Secondly, I believe modern technology has increased material wealth and happiness because of the perspective of technology. When people thought of futuristic technologies in the past, they thought of things like AI, holograms, etc., and now these technologies are becoming part of our lives. This means that in the past, poeple only imagined them, but now people can actually use them. For example, in Back To The Future, they show a car that runs with the energy created by trash, and now we can turn left over foods into energy. 

Lastly, I believe modern technology has increased material wealth and happiness because of the comparison of the past and present. In the past, a lot of people died due to disease or lack of information or knowledge about sickness, but as technology developed, people were able to identify the causes of diseases and cure them. This shows that as people do not need to lose their loved ones as they did in the past, their happiness increases.

Thus, I believe modern technology has increased material wealth and happiness because of different uses of technology, perspective, and comparisons. As technology evolves, humankind will be able to do more things that we thought we could not do 10 years ago.
