[TOPIC WRITING]"What are major features of the city of the future?"

 What do you think cities will look like in the future? And what do you think are the major features of the city of the future? In the future, there will be a lot of new technologies, and they will make our life better than before. And those technologies will be in cities, too. So, which thing can be major features of the city of the future? I think there will be more plants in the city of the future. This is because if people use oil to fuel their cars in the future, then there will be a lot of carbon dioxide produced by cars and other things. And plants eat carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Therefore, people will plant many kinds of plants in buildings to decrease the amount of carbon dioxide and increase the amount of oxygen. As a result of this process, the air near the city will be cleaner, and people will be healthier than they used to be before. But I think there will be technology that will make air clear in the future if there is that technology in the future, I think there will be about the same amount of plants in the city as now.

I believe there can be a robot that cleans the streets and buildings because people like streets and buildings to be clean. Because it keeps streets and buildings cleaner than before, I think people will like this robot and place it throughout the city. Also, I think there will be a machine that makes trashes into energy, because only some trashes are being recycled, and most of trashes is being sent to the ocean or buried in the ground. And this machine can solve the trash problem, and it will generate energy at the same time. That will make the Earth much cleaner and we can earn more energy to do something.

Maybe, there can be a system in the city that will prevent natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, etc from doing too much damage to the city. Because natural disasters can harm people in many ways. Therefore, people will try to build a system that can prevent natural disasters from doing too much damage to the city.

 What do you think about garbage disposal? Then, do you think garbage disposal should not be free to encourage recycling (example: Switzerland)? I think many poeple already recycle things that they want to use again, so I think there is no need to make garbage disposal not become free to encourage people to recycle things. People need to dispose of their garbage anyway, and there are things that you can't recycle. So, it might not be fair to people who recycle a lot of things and need to dispose of non-recyclable garbage. And some people might try to dispose of their garbage in trash cans in public places to avoid paying for the disposal of garbage. Then, there will be tons of garbage in public trash cans, and it will be bad for people who own buildings that have public trash cans since they would need to pay money in order to dispose of other people's garbage.
