I think there are some differences between normal and organic foods because the production of these 2 foods is kind of different, For growing organic foods, farmers only use natural fertilizer. This means organic foods do not contain substances that were created by humans, and some people might say this is healthier and some might say it really doesn't matter. Another difference is how they handle the production wastes. For growing normal foods, farmers usually burn, bury, etc to handle this situation. Burning these wastes might affect the farm animals living near that farm. Burying these wastes might pollute groundwaters, which will make people near that area have less water. But for growing organic foods, farmers usually give them to their farm animals. And it will be safe for animals to eat them since they did not use any substances that would harm these animals. However, there are disadvantages to organic foods. Since organic foods do not use chemical substances, there is more chance that pests and diseases would come to these organic foods. This means farmers would suffer from a greater number of diseases and pests. Because of this problem, some farmers mix the way how farmers produce normal and organic foods. And some people say these kinds of foods are normal foods, and some say these kinds of foods are organic foods. So, do you think the only difference between normal and organic food is the cost? Well, I don't think so.

The conclusion is I think there are other differences between normal and organic food because the way that farmers produce these two different types of food are different since organic foods really don't use chemical substances to grow them. And the way farmers dispose of production wastes is different from each other. There are some disadvantages of organic foods such as a greater amount of pests and diseases.
