[TOPIC WRITING]"Mobile phones shouldn’t be allowed at school."
Now mobile phones are part of our life, and we can not survive without them. As technology evolved, more people started to use mobile phones, and nowadays, most people have a mobile phone. Mobile phones have a lot of use that can help students and teachers such as setting up a timer, flashlight, calculator, etc.
Firstly, as technology evolved, the features of the mobile phone got better and better. In the past, people needed to carry timers, calculators, dictionaries, etc. to school, but now they can just carry their mobile phones to do all of them. For example, when students don't know the word's meaning and there is no dictionary, they can use their mobile phones to find out what the word means. Emergencies can always happen, and it is important to notify other people about them. If some kind of event happened near school, teachers and students can be notified about this info with their mobile phones. For example, if there is a tornado near school, teachers can follow the procedure for a tornado and keep students safe.
Secondly, school is a place to learn, and students should not be distracted from learning. Mobile phones are filled with things that will distract students from learning, and they might also distract teachers from teaching. For example, since everybody carries their mobile phones, they get calls every time, and these calls will distract teachers from teaching their classes. With all distractions from mobile phones, students will not focus on the lessons teachers are teaching. Some students will find it harder to focus on lessons with all distractions, and this will cause them to not focus on lessons. For example, students might use their mobile phones when teachers are teaching them lessons, and if teachers find out, teachers might feel upset.
In my opinion, mobile phones should be allowed at school. For example, students can turn off their mobile phones to eliminate any distractions, and they will all focus on lessons and use mobile phones after school.
