[TOPIC WRITING]"Student ID cards should have tracking devices."
People constantly lose their stuff. Many students lose their student ID cards which they use for a lot of things. Student ID cards should not have tracking devices because of reasons like cost, responsibility, convenience, and tech problems.
Student ID cards should not have tracking devices because of the cost of tracking devices. It already takes money to make student ID cards for all students, but if they add tracking devices to them, it will going to be much more expensive to make student ID cards for all students. For example, if student ID cards cost $5 per card to make, it will be going to cost $50 per card.
Student ID cards should not have tracking devices because of the responsibility of students. Students need to learn responsibilities before they become adults, and when they lose their student ID cards, they should know that it was their responsibility to not lose their student ID cards. For example, if students can just find their student ID cards easily after they lose them, they might not learn about responsibilities.
Student ID cards should not have tracking devices because of convenience. If tracking devices are added to student ID cards, those cards will be going to be a lot thicker and heavier than before, and it will be harder for students to carry those cards it is heavier and thicker. For example, it will be hard to put student ID cards in students' pockets since they will be thicker and heavier.
Student ID cards should not have tracking devices because of technological problems. Tracking devices in student ID cards will need to be charged, and schools will need to provide chargers for student ID cards which will be going to take more money to make. For example, if students need to charge their student ID cards, most students will not be going to charge their cards, which means it would be the same as just regular student ID cards.
Thus, student ID cards should not have tracking devices for many reasons. For example, the cost of tracking devices, learning responsibility, the convenience of cards, and technology problems. This shows that student ID cards should not have tracking devices.
