 It takes less than a tenth of a second for Google to find the answer to your question. In the past, it took a very long time for people to find the answer since they did not have the internet. I believe the internet has made research easier and more convenient because of devices. speed, AI, etc.

Firstly, I believe the internet has made research easier and more convenient because of the wide use of devices. As technology developed,  more people started to own devices like computers, laptops, phones, etc. Since people can access their devices easily, they can use those devices to access the internet and research. For example, in the past, people needed to go to the library or ask to poeple in order to research something, however nowadays, people can just ask their questions in search browsers like Google to find the answer to their questions. This shows that as more people started to have devices, it became easier for them to access the internet and research.

Secondly, I believe the internet has made research easier and more convenient because of the speed it takes to research something. In the past, the only way people were able to research something was to ask professionals or go to the library. These ways were slow and inefficient since professionals could get something wrong and it would take a very long time to find the answer to the exact question in books. For example, if a person wanted to find a recipe to make pasta, they would need to find the recipe in cookbooks, however nowadays, a person can just search in Google and the recipe for pasta will come out. This shows that it takes way less time to find information nowadays than how it took in the past.

Lastly, I believe the internet has made research easier and more convenient because of AI. As technologies evolved, people were able to create artificial intelligence that is better than search engines like Google. These AIs are considered to be better than search engines because of the time of getting the information people need. For example, if people search in Google, they will need to scroll in order to find the exact information they want, however, AI can provide the exact answer to the question you asked. This shows that as technologies developed search engines are considered an inefficient way to research.

Thus, I believe the internet has made research easier and more convenient because of many reasons. For example devices, speed, AI, etc. This shows that as technologies developed, a lot of things are changing along the way.

 What do you think about garbage disposal? Then, do you think garbage disposal should not be free to encourage recycling (example: Switzerland)? I think many poeple already recycle things that they want to use again, so I think there is no need to make garbage disposal not become free to encourage people to recycle things. People need to dispose of their garbage anyway, and there are things that you can't recycle. So, it might not be fair to people who recycle a lot of things and need to dispose of non-recyclable garbage. And some people might try to dispose of their garbage in trash cans in public places to avoid paying for the disposal of garbage. Then, there will be tons of garbage in public trash cans, and it will be bad for people who own buildings that have public trash cans since they would need to pay money in order to dispose of other people's garbage.
